Thousands of Facebook users are currently showing their support for Ukraine by putting the iconic yellow and blue flag on their profile picture.

After Russia invaded Ukraine, people tried in every way possible to show their support for its citizens and although adding a flag is a small gesture, it is something that everyone everyone can easily do.

Today, five days after the start of the invasion, fighting is taking place in many major cities across the country as Russia tries to take control.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to show you how you can get the Ukrainian national flag on your profile.

With that in mind, we’ve put together a step-by-step guide to show you how you can get the Ukrainian national flag on your profile.

How to add a flag to your profile:

  1. Click on here and head over to the profile picture frames feature on Facebook.

  2. Search for Ukraine in the search box and then select its flag from the options.

  3. Then adjust your profile picture as you want, you can zoom in and out.

  4. You can then choose how long you want the flag to be displayed. You have a wide range of time scales from an hour to an eternity.

  5. Finally, click on “Use as profile photo” to update your photo, which means that you now have the Ukrainian flag in your photo.
