Searching by name or username is the easiest thing you can do to find your friends on Facebook. A username is the letter and numbers that are written on a user’s profile after the Facebook URL. For instance; facebook.com/shubham.dutt.3572, in this URL, shubham.dutt.3572 is the person’s username.

  1. Open Facebook.com and in the search box at the top, type the name you want to search with. Also, if you know the person’s username, write it in the exact format.
  2. Facebook will start showing you suggestions, start finding the person, and send them a request.

Tip: If your known person’s account still doesn’t appear in the list, be more specific about their last name or nickname. Then the account should appear.

How to find a Facebook ID by synchronizing your contacts?

  1. Launch the Facebook app on the phone.
